Satisfaction is the reason

Me,religious? Interesting subject. Its tuff to believe in god & follow religious virtues, at least for me. Life is to enjoy to the fullest,so its a little tough for me to follow religious path. How often a person breaks his religious rules to try out things he is not suppose to(as per his religious framework)?
I would say quite often. Then why live a life following & breaking rules to discomfort the self to take pleasure in something restricted. Or is it the secret science for a human to break open all the chains tied on him & free him/her self to be a free spirit. And please tell me,each & every religion I know has a number of regulation, not all but most of them do directly or indirectly go against the modern society. And why are we still living or trying to live a life based on things that were written few thousands of years ago,are they relevent for us, in this time frame? Can we still believe those details to find peace in our life? While I write these lines, I am not sure about existance of god or devine being. But I am enjoying the rain this night here in Bangalore (it did not rain for quite a few days till tonight, pretty dry month) & this night is quite special, its Janmashtami.Janmashtami or krishnashtami is considered the night when God Krishna had taken birth in a dungeon where his mother was jailed by her brother. Then later that night the mother had given the new born baby to her husband & asked him to get the child to a safer destination before her brother King Kamshan finds out the birth of a baby boy, then this boring story goes on to say, the baby was taken across the land & forest,it started pouring heavy that night, just like tonight. And here comes the 5 headed surpant who spreads herself to protect the baby boy from the heavy rain as he is taken to a safer land far far away, quite a helpful five headed surpant,I should say. Now should I say its a coincidence that it has been raining every Janmashtami night that I have be observing? Or is it something above my understanding which is trying to show its power through such events?Ya, I agree, every janmashtami night it rains heavy, jus like it rained on the day of Krishna's birth (as per Hindu mythology). Now I need to reconsider my stand on religion & God.May be there are things that are too complex for an ordinary human like me to make meaning of.Why are we always trying to make meaning of things or reason out things.Trying to be rational?Has modern science or education system taught us this pattern of life?or is it the way we humans are destined to live in a modern science oriented society.I would not accept on that for a reason,I need something concrete to believe in,Oops, here I go again, not ready to accept or believe in things without a satisfactory explanation. So the word is satisfaction.Satisfaction is the answer for most deeds a human performs.Satisfaction is the reason.

How to change?

I am a true believer in attitude change or behavior change in human beings. I just feel humans do not react positively if asked to change by statement made directly upon them (like a one on one session or a group discuss), instead I have seen & experienced positive change in humans when he/she observes some other's action in real life situation thus impacting their own psyche to change the self. So change in human is easily possible if he or she is subject to observe certain situation that would relate with themselves & thus get the result (change in behavior) which is expected. To give a simple example to support the above statement: A noisy or rude person would not generally suppress his noise or rudeness if asked to be calm, by another human or group or human. But if the noisy or rude human is let to go his way, while all others around him behave in a polite manner among themselves & with him, which he will observe at certain point of time & this observation by itself will impact him/her to calm his/her noisy or rude nature, as this behavior is not out of some others ask, but out of self realization by him/herself, the same could be seen in a very calm & polite human when he/she is subject to a noisy & rude environment, he/she would start enjoying the noise & rudeness and will involve & contribute to the same (example: a first timer in a crowded disc floor). As the fact goes, human behavior is molded by the inputs (to his/her mind) from various sense organs in the human body. These sense organs can perceive the details of the environment surrounding the human body, thus impacting his/her sense of vision, taste, touch, hearing & to smell. All the senses a human could perceive do impact his observation skill as they form the source of observation. This 'observation' is the simple constant that is always varying which impacts a person's behavior to change from within, although it is induced outside him/her.

Trip to Helsinki,Tallin

Day1: 23rd May 2009

Its been quite a while now,I've been waiting here,in BIAL(Bangalore International Airport Ltd). Waiting for the doors to open so I start my journey out of India. Now its 1 AM in Bangalore & I'll get into the plane at 1:30.Its been a long wait for me(in every sense). Finally the doors open, the cabin crew welcomes the passengers & the flight takes off in few minutes,we are already flying in the dark night & I hope to see a bright German morning. The dinner in this flight & fruit juice served were really tasty. In few minutes I am asleep.I wake up to some noise to find sun shining bright. Wow that was some sight,1 question now,is the whole of Frankfurt carpeted with green grass? The plane lands in the Frankfurt airport, the terminal C.I cannot forget that sight of watching the image of the plane I am in,on that huge glass building few minutes before the plane stops(this is visible only if you are sitting to right side window seat & I was right there at the right time). Now i really donot bother about time, as my watch shows Indian time.I am in Frankfurt & need to reach another gate to get in to the flight to Helsinki.Yes, this is one big airport with 3 terminals & numerous gates in each terminal. Now,I am into the flight to Helsinki & it was fun to watch the green land & blue sea as the plane took off.I should mention the elderly couple sitting besides me onthe way to Helsinki. They were talking in Finnish & they were really
talking, both of them complementing each other, while one stops the other is on,they were going on & on talking untill we reached Helsinki and I didnt understand a single word in that two hours of listening. From Helsinki airport I take a bus to City center. Oops, big mistake.I should have got into a taxi at the airport instead of bus,as its raining heavily now & I'll be in the middle of a city as a stranger while its raining .I reach City center by the time I find a bus to reach Espoo I am wet & frustrated.I change my mind, take a taxi to Espoo.Radisson Blu, here i come.
In 10 minutes drive I reach the hotel to find a very kind person in the reception.I get into my room '2020',crash onto the bed & wake up to the sunshine.Oops I am confused,Its 23:30 here in Espoo & the sun is shining bright.Oh my god,Ive started seeing things. Now I remember,Its the midnight sun;was this an experience for me, who lived all my life in south India where the sun sets between 17:30 & 19:00 hrs.I go out for a short walk along the sea to find labs Espoo at a short distance, return to hotel, have something to eat, crash onto the bed again.Yes, this was the longest Saturday in my life till date.

Day2: 24th May 2009

Gr8 day ahead, the kind receptionist 'Katarina' books me a ferry ticket to Tallin for the next week end (30th May) & she suggests me to travel to a fort in Suomenlinna today. She also tells me how to reach the ferry station(port) & I do just the same.Suomenlinna is a small(very small) island few Kms from Market square at Helsinki. This is one of the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites filled with a lot of museums, old buildings & lot,I mean a lot of turists. Good place to walk, walk & walk. Its easy to get lost here in this island, but there are people all around me from British to chinese origin, all are tourist here. I spent around 5 hours here & the minute my camara went OFF due to no charge in battery, this happened right when I was clicking a photo in the Customs museum (cannot forget this incident) I am out of this Island to Helsinki in the next ferry. Now its time to go around the huge buildings, designer shops, costly restaurents & wide roads of Helsinki's Market Square area & City center, all by foot.Walk, walk & walk.Walk till i am tired. Finally I decide to go back to hotel, take a bus & in 20 mins I am at the hotel for a good night sleep while the sun is shining bright all night.

Day3: 25th May 2009

The reason I am here at Espoo is to attend training at Labs Espoo & its official. So, no more details on official stuffs. I should thank Brigitte,Mark & Ragnar who accompained me.

Day4: 26th May 2009

Same as above

Day5: 27th May 2009

Same as above

Day6: 28th May 2009

Same as above. I should thank Mr.Juha for the dinner in a very special hotel, It was a theme restaurant & authentic Finnish food served in a very pleasant & native Finnish ambiance.

Day7: 29th May 2009
Same as above.

Hey... wait a second.I could atleast mention a few words about the collegues there & the trainers who trained me,both of them(Mr.Simo & Mr.Olli) were experts & best in the league, they were so good in presenting the information,I did'nt find the need to revise what they taught me till today & not a single minute during the training I felt drowsy, this training lights the so called bulb in my mind to see things the way I never saw untill now. I hope some day my countrymen here in India improve themselves to the standard of charecter what I found in the collegues/people at Labs Espoo & in general at Helsinki, from the cab drivers to the bus drivers who helped me with maps & the shopkeepers who guided me on how & what to spend on & advise on what not to buy, there is a lot to learn.Besnik, Antti, Keijo & Petteri; I thank you all for the dinner today & the support provided to me during this whole week. And thank you Vikas for showing me the shop & the Cantina restaurant.I had good pizza there.

Day8: 30th May 2009

Its time to wake up early get into the Ferry(a huge one) named Superstar at 8:00 AM to reach Tallin. The onward journey was interesting with the company of this Dance master nick named Sepe star.Sepe wants to see the whole world as one huge city, hope his wish comes true someday!Hey Sepe, hope u are reading these lines.Ya, Sepe is a good dancer, blue blood form Iran,a dance teacher & a judge. And he was travelling to Tallin to teach & judge a few dance students there,I hope you had a good weekend there at Tallin.Do be in touch Sepe,I bought a veriety of licorice candy & a pack of Fisherman's Friend(as you suggested), tried the tablet once I reached Bangalore.WOW,Uhfff, now I know the reason for that name 'Fisherman's Friend'.have a gr8 time. Now I step into Estonia through Tallin,I walk into the old city of Tallin to the festival going on there to encourage tourism during the summer, this is a week long event here & I am here on day1 of the event.Wow the crowd here beats the one I had seen at Suomenlinna in terms of number of tourists from across the globe. This was a wonderful day with bright sun, beer all around with this town also known as medieval old town for the preserved buildings that gives a chocolate box picture & yes I did buy a few kgs of chocolates from here(not exactly old city, but from a Mall in the New city),the Kalev Chocolate of Tallin, I also bought some Soviet Russian old coins & some Soviet badges from a old lady on one of the sidewalks.I walked walked & walked as was the case with most other tourist in this old town, clicking pictures wherever possible & bought some postcards with picture of Tallin from a girl & some hot fried Almond sweet from other vendor. This is one huge old town, & I also slipped into the Tallin New city which has a lot of these tall glass buildings like most cities.Again sometime late in the evening around 17:00 hrs the camera goes bloop,no more charge in battery. That signals me,its time to return to Espoo,I take the same Superstar ferry back to reach Helsinki, to my wonder almost every one in this ship was sloshed & then two buses journey to reach the Hotel after a pretty exhaustive day that almost dehydrated while I was overloaded with a huge bag of chocolates.

Day9: 31th May 2009

Woke up late, went down to th lobby & thanked Katarina who booked the tickets for me to Tallin & told her about my trip & sneeked in to the buffet breakfast although it was officially closed,I am fine having food while people are cleaning the floor,I was hungry & nothing else matters, all this while I wanted to share some chocolates I've bought with Katarina & other collegues who worked in the hotel reception, but my selfish mind didnt let me do that. Then I come back to the room, crash into the bed so I could get back to work without a jetlag once I reach Bangalore on 2nd June, guss what,It worked just the way I thought. No Jet lag on Tuesday morning.

Day10: 1st June 2009

Early morning 4:30 I get into a taxi from the Radisson Blu to reach Helsinki Ariport in 40mins,quickly dispose 5Kgs of stuff off my baggage as its much more than permitted 20 Kgs & pay a fine like charge of 40 Euros for 1Kg extra baggage & extra hand baggage. And yes I knew all this would happen.I really feel bad now!I could have shared a few of those Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate with the people in the Hotel Reception who were so kind with me, instead I had to keep them besides the garbagebin in the airport.I did feel bad when this happened,it was always there in my mind,I wanted to give some chocolates to people at hotel reception.I get into the flight to Frankfurt, all goes well from takeoff to landing at Frankfurt at terminal 'A'.I took a train to reach terminal C from terminal A in the airport, that was fun. Here I am in for a surprise at Frankfurt airport. This flight to bangalore I am going to board is the perfect end to this trip that was so enchanting interms of knowledge I gained to people I met & places I visited. This filght had a perfect combination of trvellers from Houston texas,Torronto & a few from parts of Europe.A good number of childern who were running from eonomy to business class every now & then throughout the journey & there were three babies who took turns to cry at the highest pitch possible & made sure no one in this part of the plane slept.Yes the most loudest of them was in the seat right next to me,my left ear was paining while my mind pleading for
silence;babies are extremists they either smile, giggle or cry; thank god the plane reached bangalore,I am getting out of this fairytale to reach my abode at early hours of 2nd June tuesday to have a sound sleep.

A Warm Welcome

I did not write these lines(read below). May be I can never write like this, this is more like a poem, a fairy tale description. But a perfect introduction or should I say one warm welcome. I was swept off ma feet the minute I read it, so I prefer to have a copy for my self in my blog.I could relish these lines a few years hence from today 8th May 2009.
Thank you Ms.Ulla Kilpelainen for these lines you had mailed me.
" Hi,

good. The Radisson SAS Espoo is the nearest hotel to us, you can even walk in 15 minutes from there to our premises in a good weather. The weather just now is varying between 10-20 degrees Celcius and we have a nice period of spring time here, not yet leaves in the trees, but soon! We have had quite nicely with sunshine past two weeks in the daytime, but in the night it can still be near 0 degrees. By your arrival the spring can be in the nicest phase and we should have then leaves in the trees and the last brids have then arrived to spend a summer here.

Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me!

Welcome to Finland!

kind regards
Ulla"

software tester, testing software as a service

Another evening passesby.Me planning on what to do next. Now I realise the need for me to put my career interest in my blog, been enjoying work as a software tester for quite sometime ,its now that the thought has ignited in me regarding the "qualiy of software and the amount of money spent into testing the softwares for quality",so many a testers I come across who have taken upon the profession as a tester for sheer fantasy about the field, most of them just whiling away the time and nowhere near the word resourceful or professional. To my knowledge, it does not matter how many years of experience a tester holds, but it sure does matter how many products he/she has tested, this is a field where versatility in knowledge and thought matters more than the depth in the subject. Its basically that two people could look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. From my experience I had found that bug is not some behavior that I come across, bug is something I identify and YES, in this regards a person's ability to move around the system is an asset. Its a fact that effort leads result.Testing for quality assurance is more than a career, testing softwares products and websites is more a passion in my case. And I am ready to render my testing skills as a service for those in need and also for those who want their product to be tested by a skilled professional.Do contact me at ssrinivassantoosh@yahoo.co.in Its passion, that matters next to breath.

Why do we have roads 'black' in colour, why cant some person think and try making the roads in different color
see al must have seen these roads in india as well as most of other countries all over the world. jus think this way ,'why dont we have roads in blue colour or yellow colour'. lets get creative and try making some colourful roads.im bored of seeing this black coloured roads for past 22 years in my life.could some1 do anything abt this? And u wonder why, black roads r the main cause for most of the road accidents, its been proved that most of the vehicles getting involved in road accidents are black in color, and the reason for black vehicles getting into trouble is due to the chamoflage effect with the backgorund road color which is again black & the color black does not reflect the light so its again difficult when travelling during nights. So it cud be preffered to have road in a color which is least used for any automobile body shade, thus making travel much colorful and secured.Never forget who we R & Nothing else matters.

ma changin d font(ma always ready for changes in life)

Its really gud to be here, thanks to google i cud put ma thoughts, hope many read it and do accept with ma thoughts, if possible helpmaking it a reality.Identity is at risk when it comes to the cyber world, no doubt in that. How many of us has come across our pics being misused rather just seen in this cyber world, due to the mere fact that we had posted it in some website which would allow public access.i am not against public access to the pics but hope there be a way not to allow any1 to cut or copy the pics from a weblink atleast without permission. hoping to something to happen soon to spread this message and help improve the security in cyber space. There is immence amount of knowledge and useful data available in the web, please make use of it rather consuming time in notorious activities, there is nothing heroic in creating trouble in others life, but there is great character in some1 who could get some1 out of trouble, try channalising the human energy for a better tomorrow rather being a part of dectruction which will eventually lead to selfdestruction. In case u feel u lack something which proves to be the motivating factor for an unethical activity, kindly try looking at it as a motivating factor to improve ur persona by using what u find others lack and u r gifted with. These lines could have been much boring or a bit too much ro read through, but at the end of the day working for a better tommoro is much important rather looking back at yesterday!Forever trust in who we are and NOTHINGELSE matters.
